Police find stolen truck, seek information on locker thefts

Monday afternoon, the Purdue Police Department found a truck that had been reported stolen. The truck, found abandoned in a gravel pit, was connected with a number of thefts from Purdue football players’ lockers this weekend.

The thefts were part of an already tough day for some of the team’s players, who found items were missing from their lockers after returning from their loss to Northwestern.

The Purdue Police Department received the report of stolen items around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Police believe the crime occurred sometime between the team’s departure at 2 p.m. Friday and their return at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The U.S. House of Representatives would choose the president and the Senate would select the vice president, he said.

Junior outside linebacker Bobby Iwuchukwu left Saturday’s 13-10 loss to Northwestern in the first half with a knee injury.

"It’s going to be a non-surgical issue," coach Joe Tiller said. "However, it’s 4-6 weeks and the season’s over in 4-6 weeks."
